First Baptist Church Broken Arrow

This is the church that I attend and am a member of. I used to be a member of a different one in the area, with a different denomination, but they seemed to be straying from Word of God. I am blessed, however, to live in an area with many great churches. I have stayed at this one since the pastor, and the one before him, preach the Bible and have no qualms about pointing out the direction that the world is going, which, in my opinion for this post, appears to be turning its back on God. This is an active church with a very good youth program. There is also an emphasis on missions and baptisms. If one wants to visit, this is a great time to do so as we are currently in a "Greater Still" campaign, that will be ending, I believe, next spring. The church will come out of this debt-free, and major renovations will be starting soon. I, for one, am excited to see what the church will look like when all is said and done, especially when looking at the illustrations of the proposed changes.

I have never gone to church here but my son and I go during the week to shoot hoops indoor in there open gym. We spend a lot of quality time here. I'm so grateful they have this open to the public for anyone to play with no membership fees. The hours are on there website. They also have an outdoor court that you can use any time. The view is amazing while your playing basketball, you can see almost all of Tulsa and Downtown. We will even shoot hoops on the closest of days. Plenty of parking and the staff inside is always friendly. They don't try to get you to go to church here or even advertise it. I can't say enough about this place. They have sign ups on Monday evenings were you can play 5 on 5 with anybody and meet new people.
